Hey friends! ✨
Let me start by saying, nothing is EVER out of reach. Keep dreaming and keep doing the steps that will get you closer to that dream.
On June 30th, I received an inquiry from my website for on-site engraving. At first I thought the inquiry was a scam, because the week before, I received an inquiry that was a scam. So, I reached out to the email that was on that inquiry...they responded.
This corporate company wanted on-site engraving for their party of approximately 100 guests for July 23rd. They create electronic wafers and wanted something niche for the event. We went back and forth on deciding the best item to bring on site. Finally, we landed on tumblers for $20 each since it was a bulk order.
I ordered the tumblers and the next week, she realized the guest list was getting larger and ordered 30 more tumblers! I have never engraved tumblers before on my F2, let alone 130 tumblers! To say I was freaking out, is an understatement.
Now, if you're a creative, you'll understand this next part.
I decided, "Hmm, I want to look more professional rather than bringing an outdoor table." So, of course I decided 2 weeks before the event to create a bar table! Let's be honest, I had no idea what I was doing when I was creating the table! 😂
My dad looked at me like I was crazy. But, we got it done and it turned out amazing!

It did get a little scratched up during the drive up to Sunnyvale. It was about an hour and a half drive from Modesto.
Once we arrived to the event, it was go time! We got there, unpacked the car, and when I walked in, I was NOT expecting this event to look the way it did! This company really went all out for their employees! They had a drink area, lights with their logo, speakers, and more!
Once we started engraving the tumblers, we were busy for 3 hours straight! I had my friend Mustafa there helping me out. We decided it was easier to keep it simple and only offer 1 font and name only on the tumblers. It was the best idea. After I asked the guest for the name that was being engraved, I put the tumbler in the laser machine, engraved it, and handed it to Mustafa to clean, and was onto the next guest. It was a great process and worked so seamlessly!

It was an honor to be asked to go on-site at their corporate event and it was such an awesome experience! Never count yourself out for anything. You never know what opportunities can come your way. If you're wondering how I priced everything, how I built the table or how I made this a seamless experience, I do offer 1:1 calls!
